How far in advance do I need to rent and be measured for a tuxedo?
We recommend you visit the store for a fitting as soon as you know the date of the event for which a tuxedo is needed. At least two weeks is recommended before the scheduled event. Typically, wedding tuxedos are booked 3-6 months prior to the wedding.
Am I required to set up an appointment?
No appointment is necessary. However, we encourage you to call ahead to see when a good time is to stop in.
What if I need a tuxedo last minute?
We recommend two weeks in advance, but we understand that last minute rentals may be unavoidable. These orders can be processed without a problem! Arthur's is the only on site, in-stock rental store in the area. We cannot always guarantee availability on last minute orders; no one can. However, we can guarantee that you will leave with a tuxedo that fits perfectly, and satisfies any black tie or suit need.
When can the tuxedo be picked up?
Tuxedos are ready to be picked up one to two business days prior to the date of the event. Early pick-up dates are possible when plans have been made in advance.
What happens if the tuxedo does not fit?
Arthur's entire inventory is stocked right here in Duluth. We have an alterations department for minor adjustments, such as sleeve lengths or pant hems. Our staff is trained to fix these problems on the spot in minutes. If serious alterations are required, we'll simply pull a replacement order from our inventory. This only takes minutes....it's that simple!
When does the tuxedo need to be returned?
All tuxedos are due back the following business day, usually a Monday for a Saturday event.
How can members of the wedding party get fitted that live in another city or out of state?
Complimentary measurement cards are provided at the store. You can take as many as you need to send to your groomsmen. Simply have them fill out the card and get measurements taken from a local formal wear specialist in their area. These measurements can be phoned in, faxed in, mailed or emailed.
Are there tuxedos for little boys?
We have a complete inventory of rental tuxedos for little boys all the way down to a size 4. We also carry retail “toddler tuxedos” that start at $35. An accessory package (matching vest & tie and shoes) can be added for a $20 rental fee. Add a ring bearer to your wedding party and we'll find his size!
What if I need my tuxedo for an extended period of time (ex: Cruise or Destination wedding)?
We offer extended rentals at any time, as well as a specific year round cruise special. Contact our store for prices and details.
